The Beginning Stages

☐ Book your venue at The Orchard at Caney Creek.

• Choosing a venue provides the foundation for wedding planning.

To make things that much sweeter, our team has on-site catering and

Day-of-Coordinators!

☐ Choose who you would like to be in your wedding party.

☐ Say “Yes!” to the dress.

• Depending on your style and if alterations are needed, it can

take up to 10 months to order and receive your dress.

☐ Book an officiant.
☐ Hire a photographer.
☐ Hire a florist.
☐ Hire a DJ.
☐ Hire a baker for your wedding cake.

☐ Hire a hair and makeup artist.

The Middle Stages

☐ Register at your favorite stores.
☐ Book hotel accommodations for your guests.

• The Orchard at Caney Creek has on-site lodging for 52 people.

We have 5 different houses to choose from on the property, so

those staying overnight will have ample space and privacy.

☐ Schedule an engagement photography session.

• Another perk about being an OCC couple? We allow you and

your fiancé to take engagement photos on our property at no cost. Additionally, we do not put a limit on how many times you would

like to visit to help with the planning process.

☐ Order and send save the dates.
☐ Begin planning your honeymoon.
☐ Choose attire for your wedding party.
☐ Shop for any desired wedding decorations.

• Check out our Lantern Package. It is an assortment of gold lanterns

that can be used for decorations and centerpieces.

☐ Attend your Tasting at The Orchard at Caney Creek.

• At 6-8 weeks out from the wedding we will hold your Tasting.

This allows you and your groom to choose appetizers, salads, entrees,

and sides to try for your big day! We also use this time to go over

various details to ensure everything goes as planned. Family and

friends are welcome to attend.

☐ Order and send invitations.

The Final Details

☐ Be in touch with your on-site Day-of-Coordinator.

• The Day-of-Coordinator will be responsible for creating a timeline

for your wedding, confirming vendors’ arrival and departure times,

assisting with decorations, building your table layout, and much more!

☐ Confirm final guest count.
☐ Schedule a hair and makeup trial run.

☐ Obtain a marriage license.
☐ Purchase wedding party gifts.
☐ Compile all wedding decorations.
☐ ENJOY EVERY MOMENT!
